Over the course of the ten years, Friends' boyfriends and girlfriends had a tendency to come and go. In particular, Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica had their share of memorable potential mates throughout the seasons – but where are they now?
While we don't know what has become of the actual characters, we do have a solid grasp of what became of many of the actors who play these parts. So what happened to all the boyfriends on Friends? We'll break down the boyfriends then and now. Hopefully they were able to stay out of the Friends behind-the-scenes drama.

Eddie Cahill played Rachel's young assistant-boyfriend Tag on several episodes of Friends. From there, he cut his hair and moved on to become a series regular on nine seasons of CSI: NY, Under The Dome, and Conviction. He's also a huge hockey fan, particularly of the New York Rangers, and even had his own hockey blog on NHL.com. So it must have been a dream came true when he played 1980 US Olympic goalie Jim Craig in the 2004 movie Miracle.

Phoebe's scientist boyfriend David was played by Hank Azaria, who has one of the steadiest jobs in Hollywood as the voice of Moe, Chief Wiggum and more on The Simpsons. He continues to appear in movies and on TV, including IFC's Brockmire. When he's not acting, he's indulging in one of his favorite pastimes: poker. He appeared in a couple episodes of Celebrity Poker and even made it into the 2010 World Series Of Poker.
Prior to playing Monica's wealthy UFC-fighting boyfriend Pete on Friends, Jon Favreau was probably best known for co-starring in Swingers. Since then, his stock has risen considerably - mostly behind the camera. He directed Elf, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, and much more. He also wanted to direct an Elf sequel, but Will Ferrell wasn't interested.

In the first season of Friends, Fisher Stevens played Roger, Phoebe's psychiatrist boyfriend who annoyed the other friends by digging way too deep into their subconscious. Before his Friends debut, Stevens was known for starring in the '80s sci-fi Short Circuit and for being previously engaged to Michelle Pfeiffer. He's worked steadily ever since his Friends appearance, most notably on NBC's The Blacklist. He is also a founding member of the off-Broadway theater company Naked Angels. He has also directed a number of films, including documentaries about Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds (Bright Lights) and about climate change (Before the Flood, co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio).
Phoebe thought she had found a perfect match when she moved in with Gary the cop... until he shot a bird for being too loud. He was played by Michael Rapaport, who was already known for appearing in movies such as True Romance and Deep Blue Sea. He's continued to work in movies and TV, including the 2017 Showtime series White Famous. He's also someone who musicians love to have in their music videos; he's in Jay-Z's "The City Is Mine" and Snoop Dogg's "Lavender."
Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe had a long list of boyfriends played by big-name guest stars, such as Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen, Bruce Willis, and (of course) Tom Selleck. But when Paul Rudd appeared on the show as Mike, he was mostly known for Clueless and a few other rolls in smaller movies. Since then, he's not only become a major movie star, he also refuses to age.
