Food is a language all its own and when we travel there is no quicker way to hear what a country is trying to say than to dive into its favorite dishes. Eating the food that a place takes pride in and learning the history of that food ultimately helps us to better connect with where we are and who we are with.
Countries take pride in their cuisine and some present it to the world, asking everyone to share. Others hold onto it, almost as a secret that they share amongst the initiated. Redditors from all over the world shared what food someone should try when they visit their country.
