How The Cast Of 'Stranger Things' Aged Since The First Season

Millie Bobby Brown was 12-years-old when she first portrayed Eleven on season one of Stranger Things. In the fourth season, Brown was 18-years-old.

Since appearing in Stranger Things, she starred in the 2019 movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters its 2021 sequel, Godzilla vs. Kong.

Natalia Dyer - who has played Nancy Wheeler on Stranger Things since 2016 - was first introduced to Netflix fans as a series regular when she was 21 years old, playing a teenager in her final year of high school. In season four, Dyer was 27.

Over the past few years, Dyer has since been in hit films and series such as Based on a True Story, Yes, God, Yes, and Velvet Buzzsaw.

Finn Wolfhard was 13 when he first appeared in Stranger Things season one. Just like his character Mike Wheeler, Wolfhard has grown up before our eyes. In season four, he was 19.

Wolfhard is also a musician performing with the band Calpurnia.

Caleb McLaughlin has portrayed Lucas Sinclair since season one when he was 14. In season four, McLaughlin was 20-years-old. Before Stranger Things, the actor started his career on Broadway as Young Simba in The Lion King.

Cara Buono has portrayed Karen Wheeler, Mike and Nancy's mom, since season one of Stranger Things. She began the series at 45 and appears in season four at 51-years-old. Her character's confidence seems to grow with each passing season.

Prior to playing Will Byers in Stranger Things, Noah Schnapp - who was only 11 in season one - already had an impressive resume. He previously appeared in such films as Bridge of Spies and The Peanuts Movie. In season four, audiences see Schnapp at age 17.
