- The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
- J.C. Staff, Egg Firm
Kusuo Saiki has just about any psychic power you could possibly imagine, from basics like mind-reading and telekinesis to the ability to brainwash the entire planet at once. But having all these powers is more irritating than anything else, because it means doing endless chores for his parents and constantly getting into weird situations with his eccentric friends. Oh, and he keeps reading TV spoilers in other people's minds!
But while he might not like having psychic powers, his adventures with them are pretty hilarious.

You might not think that a character who is so OP that he's impossible to defeat would be very entertaining. One Punch Man takes that notion and proves it totally wrong. Saitama can defeat anyone with a single punch, no exceptions. But that doesn't make his life easy - all it means is that he's constantly being challenged by people who want to defeat him while not getting an actual credit for most of his victories.
If you love off-beat humor and great fight scenes, this show is not to be missed.
Is this funny?Konosuba is the ultimate parody of isekai tropes, and it's worth watching whether you love the genre or hate it.
After passing away in the stupidest way possible, Kazuma Satou finds himself transported to another world. There, he's greeted by a goddess named Aqua, who offers him one item of his choice to use on his adventures. He chooses Aqua, which turns out to be the worst choice imaginable, since she's completely useless!

- Gintama
- Sunrise
Most long shonen series have their comedic moments, but Gintama is one of the few that manages to be mostly comedic while maintaining a strong, dramatic plot. Initially, the story revolves around Gintoki and the other members of the Yorozuya as they take on various odd jobs and have run-ins with the local police and the aliens that have settled on Earth.
It's all interspersed with hilarious parodies of Japanese culture, Western culture, and other anime. As the series goes on, a deep and complex plot starts to develop, but the humor never goes away.

- Grand Blue
- Zero-G
If you're sick of high school comedies, you might want to check out Grand Blue, which focuses on college students instead. All Iori Kitahara wants is to lead a healthy, ideal college experience - but after he gets dragged into the school's diving club, that dream seems far out of reach. Why? Because his club mates are constantly getting into alcohol-fueled shenanigans that he ends up right in the middle of.
Will he still be able to enjoy his college life, or is he doomed? You'll have to watch to find out.

- The Devil is a Part-Timer!
- White Fox
If the Devil had to live in the world of mortals, what do you think he'd be doing? The Devil is a Part Timer has an unexpected answer to that question - he'd work at the anime version of McDonalds.
It makes a surprising amount of sense - on Earth, capitalism is more powerful than Satan himself, so he has to work if he wants to survive. Instead of conquering the realm he came from, he sets his sights on becoming the greatest McDonalds employee in history.
